INTRODUCING:

Greetings from Northwest Ohio, along the shores of the Great Lake Erie!

I started this adventure of personalized embroidery especially for the Civil War Enthusiast.  Being a "re-enactor" myself, I don't claim to know everything about the Civil War and it's rich history, but I do have a very reliable "in-house" specialist of my own.  My husband, DeWayne has been a reenacter for over 33 years now.  Starting out as Confederate Infantry with the 5th Texas and progressed into the artillery division, where he started his own unit, the 21st Ohio Volunteer Light Artillery.  You can check out that site on my Links page. If I don't know something, I just ask him!

So, with that said, I have been having a ball with all the items that I have been making for other reenactment groups, historians, GAR's and societies.  If there is something that you don't see that I don't have listed, does not mean that I can't make it.  I have made items from civil war infantry to civil war marines, GAR Posts to Arms Society, Flag Preservationist to Battlefield Marker Preservationist.  And the list goes on and on and I add new items all the time.

I would like to show you what I have to offer and also show you what I have already done.  If there isn't anything that you see that fits your needs, just contact me and I will work with you to get a design that you want.

Now, a little bit about the owner, that's me! I'm Tracie, and I currently work as a Systems Analyst at a Regional Medical Center in a nearby city.  But, after that, my other time is devoted to my family and my embroidery business.  I am truly blessed to be able to work with all kinds of Civil War buffs, whether they are reenactors, history buffs and just plain people who are proud of their heritage and like to display it proudly.  I try and pay strict attention to the details of the digitizing that I do so that when you receive your embroidered item, it truly is designed especially for you!  So if you are thinking of getting a personalized embroidered item for yourself or someone you know, please don't hesitate. My turn-around time is excellent!

I do want to mention my husband, who is my inspiration in this endeavor.  Although he doesn't have anything to do with my business, I do a lot of "picking his brain" as I said before, he is my total "wealth of information"!  DeWayne, is a state certified welder by trade, a part-time blacksmith, and is the Captain (formally 1st Sgt.) of our Civil War Unit called the 21st Ohio Volunteer Light Artillery. He is one of a few Certified Inspectors for the National Civil War Artillery Association. The 21st OVLA consists of members from the Northwest Ohio area. They do a lot of living histories, civil war encampments and re-enactments around the Ohio/Michigan/Indiana area. They also are one of the featured guest units at Gettysburg National Park Service. They were lucky to have access to an original 1862 3" Ordinance Rifle from the Great Village of Carey, Ohio to use at our disposal to show the general public and history buffs out there what it is really like to have an Artillery cannon and camp from the Civil War. Their busiest time is from May to October, where their last re-enactment is near home at the Rutherford B. Hayes Presidential Center located in Fremont, Ohio.

Another thing that I enjoy is playing some good OLD TYME music! I play the Hammered Dulcimer and my husband plays the Autoharp and 5 string banjo. We are called "Strings of Glory". We do all of the "old tyme" songs from the Civil War and before. We put on programs for bus tours in the area and do a lot of presentation throughout Ohio. Our songs are from the ages of 1600 through 1800's and are all the old "smooth-listening" ones.

As you can see, I am busy, needless to say I don't let any "grass grow under my feet". I hope that you have enjoyed the reading and thanks for stopping by my site and learning about my company.  Like I said before, if there is something you need, please don't hesitate to
contact me.

Thanks
